Tranock was borned in a normal gnome village. Since young he was very curious about everything.His fathers also told him not to trust in tall people because they are evil and slave people. One day his village was attacked by drows. Almost all the gnomes were killed, and many others, like him, were slaved. He was given to a powerfull family of drows, that lived in the Underdark. They treated him very bad. They told him if he ever disobey their orders he would be tortured until the death. And there he remained since his 4 years old. The family he was in had many slaves but he seemed to be "favourite" one. He was always the one that was in the presence of the guest, just like a trophy. And they used to make fun of him to impress the guests.Tranock wasnt allowd to get out of the house. There were any other slaves in the house, of many races, halflings, dwarfs and also other gnomes. Tranock used sometimes the status of "favourite" to protect the other slaves, for example when at a night an hafling broke a jar of water Tranock told it was him to protect the halfling from the evil hands of the drows. The dorws just awsered "Look how stupid he is". Living with the drows was awfull, but he had to do it otherwise he would die. They were totaly evil. Their society was completly mad. They even assassin each others. When he achieved 20 years old he started being trained for combat, althought he didnt knew why. From what he heard the family was having some political problems. When he finished his training he was given a shield an armor and some throwing axes. He was told he was now going to be one of the body guards of the family. They also told him if someone in the family died the same would happen to him. This new task was better then the other ones but he was still a slave. One night he was patroling the house when in the window he saw a not normall shadow. Then all the noise was gone. He started walking to see if he could find a possible intruder. Sudently a scream of death was heard. Some one died. That sream was his death. He knew that even if the rest of the family survived he would be tortured to the death. He knew that if he was found he would die. He failed in his slave job an at the drow's eyes he had to pay for it. And so he used the madness of the house to escape for his life. He now was lost in the Underdark with all those creatures. Luckily after some days he managed to find out the way to the surface. Finally he was in the surface, just like he remembered of his dreams. The clouds were hiding the sun. And finally he was free. Like his parents said tall people werent of trust and so Tranock tried to avoid them everytime he could. And now he is sleeping near hlint, free.
