I never had a place to call home. As a child my parents were traveling merchants. We weren't rich but we made enough to have a nice living. We never stayed in one place for to long. Once business was done we would move on. With our caraven thier was also four mercenaries. Since thier was nothing else to do I spent my time talking with and getting to know the mercenaries. After a while the mercenary captain offered to teach me how to use a sword. I accepted his offer because I never had anything to do. The mercenary captain showed me much about fighting and after a while I even helped to defend the caravan. I was used to fighting a lot so I chose the deity Vorax. When I was visiting a small village, the cleric taught me a bit of Vorax. Since I was planning to become a fighter I thought this deity would be perfect for myself. A few years later my parents finally settled down in Port Hampshire and opened up a small store. My parents didn't have any money to get me started so, with all the money I saved up I bought myself a sword and some armor. I started working for some merchants protecting thier caravans and the merchants. The pay wasn't that bad and after a while I was finally able to leave the city and begin my life of adventuring.
