Name: Dione Al Anz(Pronounced - dee one al anz) Age: 20 Class: Fighter / Duelist Race: Human Subrace: none Alignment: Chaotic Good Deity: not really devout but respects and fears Mist as a sailor. Bio: Dione was Born in a brothel in Port Hampshire and razed on the high seas. His Mother was a prostitute named Nessa and his Father was some faceless, nameless Sailor with too much gold and a need. Nessa tried her best to raise Dione but when she contracted an illness, likely begotten from her trade, Dione, aged 9, was sent to the orphanage by Nessa's Handler. He was saved a year later by his half brother Brecktal Al Anz whose Father got Nessa with child but unlike Dione's Father he took Brecktal in and recognised him as his legitimate son. Brecktal had pleaded with his Father Olav to also take Dione in as his own which Olav complied to. After being officially adopted to Olav Dione spent the next decade of his life on the open seas travelling all around the continent of Mistone until one stormy night when Mist, it seemed, was angry and her anger manifested in the form of a Hurricane, which Olav's vessel, ‘The Sea Vixen' was caught on the fringes of. Sails were ripped apart, masts were broken, men were swept overboard never to be seen again and the ship was taking on water faster then the bilge and a double emergency team of bailers could bail it out. The last thing Dione remembered was seeing a huge wave approaching the ship and the rest is the stuff of dreams filled with dragons and heroes of a place called Hlint…… Dione is about 6 1, raven black hair, dark, brooding eyes and a wiry yet sturdy build. He is a skilled warrior with most ship type weapons but prefers the rapier to match his wit. At times he can be bold and daring or witty and smug but he is generally easily pleased and not too hard to get along with. He refers to most non seafarers as ‘landsider's' which is not an insult yet neither is it a compliment. He enjoys fine clothing (he feels that if one is to die they should go well dressed!), fine wine and beautiful women and never backs down from a fight unless the odds are hopeless. He one day aspires to become a Duelist with the hope of achieving perfection with the rapier.
