Erik was born the son of a serving wench and a semi successful bandit simply known as the Blade. Erik was raised strictly by his mother as the outlaw life kept his father away. Erik was placed into an apprenticeship for cobbling. In fact he is still referred to as Erik the Cobbler by friend and foe alike to this day. It is also importnt to mention that calling him shoeshine boy has led to many a bar brawl started by Erik. By the age of 16 Erik bored of a life of cobbling hit the road in hot pursuit of his fathers crew of bandits. He picked up the skills of the longsword and robbing quite quickly. However he did not have the same love of murder his father had which led to his expulsion from the group. Erik wandered around the next few years selling his sword to various good causes trying to make up for his own and his families misdeeds. Outworldy Erik would seem the angry loaner but, this is just the guilt of his past showing through. Still having a love of adventure and of course the loot that follows perhaps Erik will feel he has atoned for the deeds of his past one day.
