Kwan Weiquian
Background
Born to Zhou and Yuen Weiqiuan (Both now are deceased). Kwan has dedicated his life to the mastery and art of the straight sword.
He has come to Hlint to start fresh and escape his past.
Both his parents were nomadic traders. His father Zhou was a gifted swordsmith, and naturally taught him everything he new.
His mother, a maker of all things silk. Being traders, they moved around the country and Kwan never had time to make many friends. During his families stay at a remote village, his parents were killed defending their store from a rable of drunken militia late at night. Kwan, being 13 at the time took up his fathers sword and killed one of the attackers. The Militia managed to subdue him. They let him live that night, but the next morning they brought him before the local Magistrate. Kwan was tried and convicted of killing his parents and the guard in a blind rage. That night Kwan escaped his holding cell. With his parents dead and not a friend in the world, he was alone.....
