Thorgim was born in a small dwarven underground settlement known as Gillraith within Berhagen Mountain range renowned for its fantastic mining of the rarest metals and stones. Although Thorgim knows of his Fathers existence his father has never been very interested in a relationship with his only son and thusly they know very little about each other (Alas this is the not rare in Dwarven society). Thorgim however has a much healthier relationship with Marlg'pha pronounced Marl-og-fa his mother. Thorgim is about 4 foot 5 inches tall, quite stout and stocky but as strong as an Ox, his strength is said to have derived from the countless hours of mining work he has to endure everyday, he has a tattoo which covers most of his left arm which he had done to celebrate a very successful hunting trip deep within an old abandoned mine which resided about 3 hours walk from the very Dwarven Settlement he was born in. Thorgim has fiery red hair which he apparently inherited from his father, he has a fairly large nose and many scars on his face which he earned from shaving with a flint and many bar fights. It is from these countless bar fights that Thorgim learned many of his fighting techniques, Thorgim has been known to win fights even against teams of Dwarves should the cause be something worth fighting for that is i.e. spilling his drink. At the age of 45 Thorgim although still young decided he would leave Gillraith Mount in search of a fuller and more active life style he was bored of the dull dishwater of a life he had which entailed no more than working the mines every day with the prospect of 1 days rest a week. Thorgim has always dreamed of a day where he could throw down his pick and trade it for a forge and hammer but unfortunately has never done anything about it, until one eventful day after a long day Thorgim was sitting down to his favourite ale at his regular Inn when he overheard two dwarves he didn't recognise talk about a distant town where even the pavements were lined with silver, it was at this point that Thorgim rushed back to his rented accommodation packed his very few items and set off north west through the mountains. As Thorgim passed the final mountain of the Berhagen Mountain range he saw a road which he decided is a good start to finding the fabled town where even the pavements were lined with silver. The roads although took a long time to traverse made travelling a little easier than the rough mountain trek he had already endured, Thorgim never strayed from this road and never saw another soul until he reached a thick wooded area, however the road continued through this wooded area and thus so did Thorgim. The walking on Thorgim's part never ceased until there was a change from the hardened dirt road he had followed from the mountains to very finely laid brick which seemed to glint in the sunlight. Thorgim grew excited at the prospect of arriving at such a fine city, but alas it was just a road of a small town called "Saarmen". Thorgim decided this is not the land he had heard the strangers talk about and carried on heading north west until that sunny morning after many days of walking he arrived at the shoreline he looked over and saw a grand silhouet of a fine city he then noticed a large sign which read "Port Hampshire
