Darvick Saangr was the youngest son born into a family of four. He is the son of Sogan Danneron, a smith, and Veran Omill, a weaver. His older brother Tarkan has been a role model all of Darvick's life. He taught Darvick the values of honor, strength, and trust, values that all the Dannerons hold dear. He also taught Darvick the power of true friendship and how its bonds can never be broken. Tarkan left the family in his early 50's in search of new sights and challenges to test his axe. Darvick realizes his brother's reasons for leaving and is ready to start out on his own as well, although he is a bit younger than Tarkan was when he left. As demonstrated by his early decision to strike out alone, Darvick can be reckless at times. While he won't always charge blindly into a swarm of hostile foes, he nearly always flinches in anticipation as the thought crosses his mind. He loves battle almost as much as he loves sharing mugs of ale among friends. While he can be quiet and contemplative, Darvick is by no means as solemn as his brother. He's boisterous in speech and roaring in laughter. Darvick likes to meet new people and make new friends, despite his initial shyness, and once he's named you a friend, he'll not leave you 'til his last breath leaves first. He's just struck out on his own and is eager to find challenges both in making battle and making friends.
