Gender: Female Classes: Fighter/Mage Race: Half-Elf Deity: Lucinda Riatha is a very ambitous and compassionate half-elf who seeks to oppose evil and bring good as wide as she can. She is always looking to help people and wan't to be a force for good in the world. She plans to train in Magic after becoming an accomplished Warrior so she can grow in power and lead people against the wrongs of Layonara. She feels training in magic will make her more formidable in battle, and aid her in her fight against evil. She is'nt a mage yet, but she knows the basics of magic and has studied for many hours under her mother, Deborah Swansong, a beautiful human woman whi was a skilled mage and jewelcrafter, learning and feeding her fascination of magic. Riatha loves her mother dearly and feels she is the only reson she is'nt aslave, seeing that her father was a gray elf and had treacherous plans for his daughter. Riatha's father, a haughty Gray Elf, trained his daughter Riatha with the Greatsword, Broad and Longsword, Bow and throwing axe mostly in the goblin wastelands south of Hammerbound peaks. Training her to outsmart small bands of orcs and goblins using throwing axes as the wielder can use them to strike first with the throwing axe, melee and defend against missile weapons with the off hand shield, then take out the enemy archers with the throwing axe and charging to melee again. She is rather skilled in these tactics and still uses them as her gear now is rather meager. This training took place in Riatha's adolescence, whom she respected deeply, but disliked, mostly due to his disrespectful tone of speaker to her mother and her. as Gary Elves do, mosly for having human blood. This attitude is what caused her to develop a hostility toward male authority figures during her training, for he trained her well, yet spoke to her in a manner that he never really wanted her. She is known as an honest and loyal companion to those who befriend her and is known to be somewhat of a leader, which will grow as she gains experience. Using her magic to spy on her husband, Riatha's mother uncovered her husbands treachery, to leave her and orphan Riatha facing pressure from the other Gray Elves. Fleeing the mountains with a bow, a sword. some survival gear. provisions, and her mothers magic (Invisibility, light, magical fire and food) they made their way to Hlint. during the Ice age, mother and daughter sold some of the gems Deborah had crafted back in the mountains and in Hlint, and Riatha served as a mercenary. the gems did'nt sell as well, but were sufficient enough to get by. While in Hlint, her mothers spellbook was lost or stolen, and Riatha seeks to find it for her mother wanted it to be a family heirloom to be passed down to a family of great wizards. She has black hair and green eyes is rather attractive and has the potential to have a very good personality. She has travelled around Mistone and has a certain air of wisdom about her. Now being mature and in early adulthood, she has basic equipment and some gold and is ready to venture off into the world and do her best to see that her future is much happier then her dark past.
