Berimus lived just like every other dwarf in his clan, Drinking, hunting and honing his skills on the anvil. He lived deep within the Silent Watch mountains. His father, Craggleton Thalinor, was the captain of the guard and spent most evenings on routine patrols around the local area. Berimus was promised a posistion within his fathers squad of loyal dwarven warriors. He was even promised his fathers couveted dwarven war axe as a sign of his acceptance into the group, and as the last act of the retiring Craggleton. Unfortunately, Berimus never gained the acceptance into his fathers partrol,nor did he obtain the axe he was promised, for fate had other plans in store. This was not down to his prowess in combat, nor was it down to his strength of character. Partaking on one of the patrols, like soo many evenings before, Berimus's fathers group were ambushed by a rogue band of Stone Giants. Though a handful of the patrol returned home the following morning it was not without sacrifice. Under orders from Craggleton the squad were forced to retreat, seeing no other way for his men to escape Craggleton Sacrificed his life, to buy precious time for his beloved kinsman's retreat. Berimus has never saw his beloved father or his treasured axe since that fateful evening. He still seeks his long lost gift and revenge for his fathers memory.
