I grew up in the city of kosiline and lived through the terrible plague when i was a teenager. Because my father was a blacksmith and I his apprentice, our bodies are naturally strong and that may be the reason why we survived the plague when others did not. Many people say I look much like my father, broad of chest with shoulder length brown hair, though I carry my mother's green eyes. Though my father sought to teach me the crafting of weapons, I prefer to be an armoursmith. My wish is to one day create a suit of armour light enough for a rogue to wear but strong enough to defend against even the strongest weapons. Had such armour existed, my father's closest friend and an uncle to me might be alive today. During the plague, when the city guards were scattered with so many sick, a hoard of goblins attacked the homes outside the town. My father and I, both being healthy enough to carry swords, were pressed into the defence of the farmers. A goblin spear caught me in the right shoulder and to this day I carry both a sacr from that fight as well as a deep hatred for those vile creatures. During my studies I came across stories of a very rare metal that could woven into a suit of armour much like cloth, though it would be stronger than the best known steel. my father insists that such a metal does not exist, but I believe otherwise. When I came of age I decided to leave my home and search for this metal so that I may craft my masterpiece. I am fortunate that my father required me to learn to use the swords that I made so I can at least protect myself.
