Dromain Varga, what can be said about this half elf? Born to a proud Elven sorceror and a human ranger, Dromain spent his early childhood travelling abroad with his parents. Though his father, the sorceror, wanted Dromain to take on his ways, he was never interested in the study of the arcane. He had always enjoyed his mother's more adventurous lifestyle. At the age of 22, while hiking the Serpent Mountains in Dregar, his family was attacked by a band of thieves. The Vargas fought bravely to defend their only child, but could not hold their ground against such a large number of ruffians. As a last resort, Dromain's father pleaded him to escape as he and his mother attempted to keep the thieves at bay. Dromain ran as fast as he could as his parents' final cries echoed through the mountains. After this tragedy, Dromain wandered aimlessly until luck brought him into the Forest of Mists, where he was taken in by the clerics of Folian S'pae. The rest of his story is rather uneventful. He undertook training to become a cleric. At the age of 50, Dromain felt there was more to see and do in the world, so he resigned from being a cleric and became a ranger, just like his mother would have wanted. Now at the age of 79, Dromain is a wanderer searching for new adventures and letting his feet carry him where they may.
