At the age of 65, Klyne was happy. He lived with his family, worked with the community, and had minimal enemies. That did not last... Two years later, his world would turn upside down. A group of minotaurs attacked and killed most of the village, taking few prisoners. Klyne was one of the few to be taken by the minotaurs to be eaten. A short distance from the village, however, the minotaurs where taken by surprise. Who where Klyne's saviors? Rangers. Dressed in leather tunics and breeches. Some held a graceful bow, probably of yew, and others wielded cold, hard steel. That clinched it, Klyne wanted to become a ranger. Not just for revenge against the minotaurs, but to protect others from the same devastation that he faced. Although Klyne's real name is in fact NOT Klyne, that is what his autistic human-friend called him one day when he was found climbing a tree to pick some fruit. The name stuck, and after his friend died tragically due to sickness, Klyne adopted the name as his real name. His friends death left him with something more than just a name, a new respect for nature. Since the death of his friend, Klyne has vigorously hunted those that killed his family and friends... Minotaurs. He is lucky not to have found any yet...
