Physical Appearance: Long Black Hair, Bright Blue Eyes, Handsome, Average Build. Stands at roughly 5 feet and weighs around 120 pounds. Gollandrian was raised in a small elven community in a woods within Voltrex. In his younger days he would spend most of his time out of trees and exploring the farthest reaches of the forest that he was allowed to travel. His mother died while he was still young and his father was usually away with scouting groups, on the occasional return of his father he would be taught to use a bow as effectively as possible. Gollandrian had always had an interest in magic but his father forbid him from seeking a wizard to teach him the arcane arts. Of course, this only strengthened his interests and he secretly studied magic from any books he found in the village. When he one day made his first attempt at spell casting, he failed to horrible results sparked a fire that burned much of the village as well as seriously injuring a few elves. His father was furious about what had happened when he next returned and later, upon the recommendation of most of the town, brought Gollandrian from the village with him on his next scouting. The scouting party consisted of himself, his father and four other elves skilled in stealth and tracking. On the scout mission, they spotted another group of elves travelling through the forest. Upon closer inspection, these other elves were threatening two other elves, both of which Gollandrian recognized to be from his village. One elf volunteered to make an attempt to have this group of elves stand aside and stop harrassing his brethren. However the elves weren't pleased with the pestering of the elf and told him to mind his business. After realizing that he would not walk away, they unsheathed their own weapons and struch down the elven scout. This did not go well with the rest of the rangers and they tried to avenge their comrade. The vengeance ended with failure as only Gollandrian, his father and one other elf got away upon their eventual decision to retreat. When they returned to the village they rallied a group of brave elves and tracked the unhonourable party of elves. Luck not being with Gollandrian's people, a powerful mage was among the elves numbers and he through fireballs and other assortments of spells at the elves home to the woods, killing many one of which being Gollandrian's father. Luckily, the mage had exhausted most of his spells and fled the battle leaving the other evil elves outnumbered with what was left of the elven village's inhabitants. From his fathers death by a mage as well as the disaster he himself had caused upon his village, Gollandrian took his father's words against magic to heart and followed in his footsteps as a ranger. After many years of scouting for his hometown, Gollandrian left the forest and wandered the land, not with intentions to ever return.
