Having been rescued by Aylahadratha, a priestess of Az'atta, from a pack of Dire Spiders while she was playing in The Eternal Night Tia was brought to the surface to live. She was put into the care of the priestess's of Az'atte in the temple at Saudiria. At first she faught against Ayla and contunilly tried to excape to the eternal night to find her mother, but as time past Ayla learned of how Tia had been raised by her mother, not to hate like other drow but to be careing. Kayla also kept Tia away from the other drow so they would not learn the teachings she had recived from her mother. Smiling Ayla finally managed to convince Tia that her mother would be happy that she was now free and that some day her mother would find her. As she grew she recived the teachings of Az'atta in hopes that she would follow the path of the clergy. Even thoush she loved her goddess she also loved knowladge, of every type. So as things go Tia began to learn the ways of magic from Majul, an elderly wizard who had retired in Saudiria. She studied his many tombs learning of the places and people of Layonara, of its history and of the current happenings. She also learned many languages as well, common and drow she knew from her mother, Ayla taught her High-Drow and the silent language of her people. Majul taught her the language of the Halflings and is currentlly teaching her the language of the dragons. She has also began to study the planes and the means of travling between them.
