Epiphany Jones is a typical gnome in many respects: a love of illusions and prestidigitation combine with an insatiable sense of curiosity. Piff is also an inventor, or would like to be. Item creation at all levels (whether magic or mundane), and a desire to improve on things, holds a deep fascination for him. A born performer, Piff sees his magic as a form of showmanship, and sometimes can get carried away "monologuing". Dabbling in the bardic arts is a way to feed his need for showmanship as well. He is a follower of Goran, The Master of Metal, although he can't quite live up to the dogma. He's always game to try something new, but doesn't always finish everything he starts. He's most interested in woodworking, gemcutting, and alchemy... although not neccessarily in that order. He's tall for a gnome, standing around 3'8" with a medium build. He keeps his brown hair fairly short and remains clean-shaven. He has ice blue eyes that sparkle when his curiousity is aroused (which is nearly always). His clothing is neat and well-cared for and his own sense of style is a shirt and breeches with boots and a cloak or cape usually.
