Caldor's parents were from a group of elves who stayed hidden because they thought they were different. This group of elves feared magic and were banned from ever using it. When one of the elves caught them using a magic spell the leader was forced to banish them from the land forever. They ran to Lake Sieron in The Hight Forest. There they had Caldor. Caldor never knew anyone else but his parents. The only friends he had were animals tough he could not communicate with them. At a very young age he found out that he himself had magic in his blood. When his parent found out they decide to teach him how to use it and soon he started to learn the simple spells. He always wanted to protect and help people and decided that his new abilities would help him do just that. At the age of ninety-eight he se off to find civilization. He past Beirun, Sar, Krag, and Edal and is trying to makehis way to Fort Llast. Though he is still not a great wizard he is learning to become a better one.
