Kayne appears much older than his age suggests due to a life of constant travelling. An aura of mysteriousness waivers about him like a dark cloud, you can feel his eyes staring at you and examining you. After talking with him for awhile, you learn Kayne was the son of a caravan leader. Kayne's father was a smart man who dabled in the art of magic, simple cantrips that eased the nomadic lifestyle. His father was his mentor, teaching him the arcane arts of which he showed great promise. During their travels, Kayne served as the caravans' scout, moving ahead to look for possible threats. He became skilled at remaining unseen and silent. A little over a year ago, Kayne's father was betrayed and murdered by a merc that was hired to protect his shipments. This has left Kayne without family or a place to call home. He has learned to fend for himself now, sometimes resorting to simple thievery in order to survive. Since his father's death, Kayne has become a merc, taking jobs that avenge the evil deeds of murderers and thieves.
