Human: Warfare

Human: Warfare

Humans have little qualms about going to war. They are not naturally militant; yet, they are easily able to adapt to the idea. Their constant expansion also gets them into situations that often lead to armed conflict. Humans seem to have a tendency toward the dramatic, and whenever conflict ensues, large armies face each other on extended battlefields. In their ranks, their diverse nature asserts itself. Shield bearers, archers, lancers, swordsmen, scouts, and healers, all serve unique roles in battle.

The defensive capability of a human settlement is directly related to the amount of resources they possess. A rather nomadic tribe will do their best to avoid minor threats but will move quickly against larger problems. Larger cities however, may have entire garrisons of fully-steeled soldiers ready to confront any enemy.

Whatever level of security they may possess, one thing is standard amongst them all, and it is their ability to adapt to any situation with ease. If they must resort to close encounters or to long drawn out campaigns, they will find a way to adapt and succeed.
