Human: Training and Upbringing

Humans train their children from a young age. As soon as aptitude is revealed, it is encouraged and promoted through either family members or city apprentice halls. To more traditional societies, family business has a great degree of importance; it is common for a certain shop or temple to have been kept by the same family for several generations. One way or another though, humans are expected to add to their society, those who fall out of this pattern commonly become either vagabonds or adventurers.

Status has a great degree of influence on what professions or jobs are available to an individual, unlike most other races where anyone may have the same degree of opportunities for growth, humans have a tendency to pay much attention to where the person or their family is standing socially.
