Gephel grew up in a small village about 1 mile from a monastery. Everyday as a young lad he would see the monks as they came into town and also would watch them train. He was always intrigued by the monks and dreamed of the day when he could become one. His mother was a sorceror and trained him in the ways of socery. At the age of 10 his town was raided while he was out playing in the field between town and the monastery. The monks took him and and for the next 10 years he would study and train as a monk. At the current age of 20 Gephel is setting out on his course for self-enlightenment. He wants to travel the land and learn what is out there. Wants to experience what the world offers. Wants to put his training to good use. While not driven by monetary rewards he does want to save as much as possible and return to his monastery after his adventuring days. He would like to be head of the Order and have the most well known and respected monastery in all the lands.
