Name: Bennet D'Envy Age: 20 Class: Wizard Race: Human Subrace: none Alignment: Lawful Neutral Deity: Goran Bio: Bennet was born into a wealthy Family of merchants in Pranzis around 1103 during harsher times when class distinctions were much more defined. He was sickly and weak child much to his fathers' disappointment. His mother though, ever patient, read to him and nursed him and discovered the child had a sharp mind at a very early age. At age 8 he was indentured into service as an apprentice to a Wizard known only as Taroth. Some called him the windy behind his back because they felt he was more hot air and wind then action but never the less he was a masterful Wizard and harsh but fair mentor. Bennet enjoyed his studies with Master Taroth despite the annoying jobs like cleaning the ever dusty library or stirring the seemingly never ending pot of stew. He quickly excelled in his studies surpassing older boys even in skill and knowledge. This made him somewhat of an outcast unfortunately among the other apprentices and gave rise to labels like Masters' Pet and sometimes on extreme occasions even beatings. One day Master Taroth even expelled two of the older bullies advising them to pick up a sword and take there chances as Fighters. This only alienated him further though. Possessing a sharp and disciplined mind Bennet took it all in stride and ignored the other apprentices. At age 18 the young boy became a man and a Wizard in his own right. Bennet returned home to live for a time and it is then that he re-established the bond with his older Brother Thomeric. Thomeric was already in service as a squire to a great Holy Knight or Paladin when Bennet was a youngster so he did not know much about him but whenever Bennet returned home to visit and Thom was there he was always very kind to Bennet and the two even got into mischief together on numerous occasions. Thom also warded off the bullies who would always find Bennet an easy target for there attention due to his mild manner and meek appearance. Bennet did not really understand his older brothers motives nor his choice of Class but he admired and envied his strong beliefs, strength of character and of course his physical prowess. The Brothers, at the request of there Mother, agreed to accompany one another and to watch over each other in there adventures a promise mind you that was easily made as the bonds of brotherly love and family loyalty ran deep between the two lads. One day, after escorting a caravan filled with goods for there Father, the brothers were walking into a huge squall when suddenly all time and space seemed to stand still for awhile. When they next became coherent they fell to there knees in awe before a mighty Gold Dragon……and so there tale begins. Bennet is a meek and mild mannered person, he rarely speaks unless spoken to except to this brother and is extremely shy, especially in the company of humans of the opposite sex. He is sickly in appearance, very skinny and very pale in skin tone. He stands about 5 feet 8 inches, has hazel green eyes and a sunken, hollow looking face. His hair is most peculiar as it is almost blue it is so black. Don't mistake appearance for weakness though because behind the frail body lies a mind sharper then the keenest blade and more disciplined then the average monks. Knowledge and invention are his life and he one day seeks to create spells that will survive the ages Immortalising him as a Wizard of great skill. Should anyone stand in his way in achieving this goal they should expect to be removed post haste. He is ruthless in his pursuits of knowledge but not cruel, pragmatic and at times even cold hearted at his worst. Loyal, Loving and caring at his best.
