On occasion, fellow adventurers have noted a more brutal side to Xiao's nature, and it generally only reveals itself when he is engaged in combat. It is unclear whether this is due to Xiao's training, or something from earlier in his life. Perhaps if asked, Xiao himself would not be able to answer that.
