Vetalla was raised int he murky waters of the sea of Lampil just off the coast of Krag...Her father and mother, devout clerics of Shindaleria, treated her well enough. They were a hard working family that served in the shines, though Vetalla was never allowed to visit them. Her curiosity grew at the mysteries her parents held and at the wonder of Shindaleria. What really captured Vetalla's heart was Shindaleria's omniscience and her agelessness. The Mother Ocean was Vetalla's most trusted advisor, friend and confidant. She would do anything for her. When she was finally old enough to be asked to retrieve fine art and precious objects for the coming celebration of The Returning, Vetalla was ecstatic. She left her family and set out on her own....caught in a current she was forced to swim with it. It carried her to Winderjammer Bay where she saw the breathless...in their own habitat. But they were poluting the waters and destroying their land. Mist must be to blame for this she thought and stayed to investigate...what would she find? Would she make it back for the Junar celebration?
