Lyshan was born in Fort Llast at the temple of Toran. There, he grew up with the soldiers where on many occasions he heard stories of war and battle. Lyshan began to understand the importance of war to protect people. Evil has to be fought at all times Lyshan always thought. Lyshan's parents died on his 16th birthday by a group of Orcs. There death inspired Lyshan to persue a life of more faith. Lyshan, after his parent's funeral service, gave himself over to the goals of the church. Now as an adult, he is going out into the world to spread the word of his god. As a sword specialist, Lyshan has always been seen up with the fighters in the front but frequently healing his party in battle. Lyshan is a strong romantic and can be seen frequently courting in the local tavern, but doesnt let it interfere with his god. Lyshan has always got along with the soldiers in town and prefers the company of a fighter or paladin as long as they have the characteristics true to his god. When Lyshan joined the church, it was his passion to become a great fighter like his friends. As most of his friends were fighters, he often trained and spent most of his time with them. Sadly, Lyshan just didn't cut it. It wasn't that Lyshan was a terrible fighter, he just didn't posess the drive the others showed. Instead, Lyshan turned to the priests for help. Lyshan figured it was probably best to keep the fighting skills he retained, but to use more of his energy into healing. The God of Toran was good to Lyshan and Lyshan was good to him as Lyshan believed in many of the beliefs of paladins and warriors.The priest Lyshan studied under never revealed his name, he was quite mysterious yet very wise. The unnamed priest always encouraged Lyshan by teaching him that true strength comes from belief in Toran. This bit of advice encouraged Lyshan to be a great Cleric. Lyshan vowed to use his healing powers for the soul purpose of good, and if he couldn't help his friends out on the battlefield, he could at least tend to their wounds. The weapon of choice Lyshan always excelled in was the use in Long Swords. Altough he wasn't perfect in the mastery of the Long Sword, his faith in his god always strived him to do better.
