Lance was born into a small religious family in a small village. He was raised to worship the god Toran for meny years he only studied small amounts about Toran and so never learned fully what Toran was. When he reached the age of 12 his village was attacked by undead hordes so his farther placed him inside the cellar whcih was covered up by a small amount of carpet in there house. even though Lance was protected his mother and farther didnt have time to get in with Lance because a Black Guard found his way into there home. The Black Guard took high pleasure in killing Lance's farther very slowly and torturing and raping his mother. Lance heard it all and couldnt do eny thing. After the undead hordes left the villageLance quickly struggled to get out of the cellar and ran into the night. He ran and ran until he didn't know where he was and finally fell to the ground out of exhaustion a few days had past when a paladin named Jerik came across the young boy and took him and healed him. Lance Stayed with the palading for 14 years learning from jerik about the ways of healing and the arts of the long sword and the long bow after being trialed many times with failure Lance passed the longsword and long bow trials on his 18th birthday after this Jerik allowed Lance to studie in depth more about Toran. Teaching Lance about Honor,Truth,Loyalty,Duty but Lance struggled when it came to Watchfullness,Vigilance and Leadership but Lancedid learn extreamly well when it came to Honor and Jeriknew from the way he fought him in training exercises and the way he acted honor was always very important to Lance and it would remain the best quality of Lance. After his last few years with Jerik, Lance finnaly understood Toran and kept s stronger beliefs in himfrom what he had as a child and always felt after his final trials that he would always keep his honor and duty as a paladin for his god and his parants. After one more year Lance finished the rest of his training and left Jerik for revenge.... Lance new he couldnt allow his parents deaths to go unjust in the name of his god and his parents abd set out to kill the Dark Knight There was one last thing the paladin Jerik told Lance and that was to not use his hatred because hatred is what killed his parents.....................................................................
