Brielle is a bright young woman, but though she is clever, she is unfortunately rather foolish. This is demostrated by her rash decision to leave home. She grew up on a small farm at the North end of Mistone, and her parents never placed unreasonable demands on her but did expect assistance in running the farm. Brielle felt that this was unreasonable, as she desired to spend all of her time focussing on her study of music. One day, after being chastised for neglecting to milk the family's sole cow, Brielle gathered what things she possessed and took to the road "in search of her muse." Since leaving home, Brielle's red hair has lost some of its shine, and her fair skin proved, to her surprise, to be prone to burning. Her five-foot-two frame has also dropped several pounds, as foraging turned out to be more difficult than eating her mother's well-prepared meals. Brielle alternates between wretched complaints about the trials of a life spent travelling and charming rhetoric regarding the thrills of adventure.
