Choco bounces playfully beside Zorrin, sniffing and examining things as they go.* At a very young age, Zorrin had a loving family who cared for him. They lived in a small, isolated farm just enough to feed the family and to make a good living. The pale mother looked down at the baby's small face with his eyes still closed and swollen from birth. She hoped that he would grow up to be a strong man to help his father with the farm and perhaps even take his place growing and taking care of the crops. As the days pasted, a terrifying fire broke out on the small farm. The mother holding her baby tightly and the father were forced to abandon their home and to run to a near river. When they reached the bank, the fire surrounded the helpless family and closed in on them with raging speed. Nothing was left of the farm... not a trace of life stirred in the hot, smoking ashes except a bundle of rags drifting slowly from the river's gentle current. As the bundle of rags drifted away from the devastation, the muffled cry of a baby could be heard from it and the small hands lifted out from the rags reaching for the sky. Days later, the infant drifted far into a tropical forest where the river widened. A group of druids found the baby caught between two boulders and took the fragile boy to their tribe of Agions deep within the forest where they nurtured him back to good health. An entirely new future was built for the baby boy who was now called Zorrin Agion, the drifter. Zorrin now at the age of 15, learned many great things about his new family tribe of Agions. There he learned the basic art of communicating to wildlife and became friends with a little baby brown bear which he called Choco. The tribe also introduced Zorrin to the deity Katia, where he learned to respect the elements of nature. The tribe was mostly made up of druids and the leader, Kratos Agion, was the oldest and the wisest of them all. Zorrin was not yet a druid and had much to learn before becoming one. He always looked up to the elder druids and was fascinated by how they could morph into the shape of almost any animal in Layonara! After becoming an official druid at the age of 20, Zorrin was told by the tribe that he was not a true Agion and that he was found from the river as an infant. Zorrin's mind was turned into complete confusion when he heard about this because the only family he knew was his tribe and he had no memory of his real family. A few weeks later, Zorrin decided to leave the safety of the forest and his tribe in search of his real family and to seek his true identity. After giving his tribal necklace to Kratos, Zorrin hugged all of his loved ones and headed out of the dense forest with Choco following his steps...
