Visivicous was sold into slavery when he was nineteen years old. He suffered a head injury and lost all memory of his parents and past life. His owner was a fat human that went by the name of Rudy, (although many said that had not always been his name). Rudy was a drunkard who always wore a red suit and had an affinity for baked goods. He would beat Visivicous whenever he was depressed, hungry, drunk, or tired. Visivicous was forced to wait hand and foot on Rudy's bastard half-elven children, as they had no known mother. They hated Visivicous and would constantly beat him with wooden clubs. By the time that Visivicous was thirty years of age the beatings had escalated to the point that his life was always in danger. The local authorities were racist and did not believe the stories of a 'lying idiotic dwarf-slave'. On his thirty-fifth birthday Visivicous finally gathered enough courage to flee into the woods near his home town. There he met an eighty-one year old human Cleric of Vorax named Aephelion. Aephelion taught Visivicous the basics of being a cleric and about bravery, battle, valor, vigilance, and war. The more Visivicous learned the more he wished to become a Battle Priest of Vorax. He spent twelve years with Aephelion before his mentor and friend passed on from old age. Visivicous spent the next three years in the woods gaining skill as a cleric. He learned to let go of his hate of Rudy and Rudy's children. Instead he began to pity them because they were weak and would never learn to better themselves or help their community. Now he is ready to set out for adventure, at the young age of twenty-three. He will uphold the ideals of Vorax and remember all that Aephelion taught him.
