Writer's Wednesday XXVI

Good Wednesday dear readers,

Today we have a treat proffered to us from

Minerva. Her hand picked

creatures will be on display for you to read about

this week. Some may

be familiar to you, and a couple maybe completely new.

Each is perhaps a

bit more dangerous then the one before.

Driss-

/Until it moves you might mistake this bloated arachnid for a

lichen covered

rock. That would be a deadly mistake.
/

Felhound Pack Leader-/Leadership

is gained and held by strength not

mercy. The leader of these bone plated

yet shaggy canines is the most

deadly and cunning of the pack and to be

respected.
/

Scarabaeus/It looks like a Corathian experiment, this

creature that

seem part beetle, part bird and vaguely humanoid. Its origins

are

rumored to be that of a magical rite. It has a strong carapace and

lethal beak.
/

Plague Scorpion- /Most scorpions have a poisonous

venom, but this one

actually harbors a nasty disease. It feeds mostly off

the rotting flesh

of others and often covering in decayed

material.
/

Jungle Spider- /This spider ambushes from above and envenoms

her victim

then winds him in silk so that she can slowly consume his vital

fluids

over the next few weeks. The dry husks of the victim are preferred by

some dark weavers for spells and as such these spiders are sometimes

kept as pets, though they are most at home in the deep damp

jungles.
/

Thank you to all that look in weekly. We hope you enjoyed this

brief

look into some of the nasties we are planning for you

all!
