Writer's Wednesday XXIV

Hello and welcome once again to Writer's Wednesday!

Today we are looking
at loot items that remind/teach us of places! These
lore related tidbits
should provide some interesting insights into the
upcoming
game.

Apprentice Gi Blade- Made in the town of Gi in the Telish Throne

kingdom, swords such as these are sometimes found for sale or in the

hands of ne'er-do-wells. The blade, while copper, is hammered layers in

the town's signature style and the edge is sharp enough to cut
fruit.

Pendant of the Mother- This wine-red gem has a distinct sparkle
in the
center of the gem. A second-year project for aspiring enchanters

learning from Okayn in Bilkan, they have trickled into the marketplace

as the old halfling does not change his curriculum, ever.

Birdshot
Bullets- A favorite for taking down small game, these small
stones are
shaped in several communities across Bilkan and are shot from
a sling by the
dozen. The smaller size of the bullets does reduce the
damage,
however.

Pa Horcum's Potent Beast Pill- Created by the rural Dririan
mage Pa
Horcum, this small dark red pill is rumored to be composed of dried

blood from a number of vicious creatures, although for his part Pa

denies this. He does, however, refuse to share his recipe with anyone.

The pills come in several strengths and are a favorite with spellcasters

of all types who find themselves in over their heads in a
fight.

Major Rune of Azqa- Traded only in exchange for very specific
favors by
the Spine Mountain Frostflare clan, these chunks of mithril are
etched
with a single rune.  How they are imbued by deeply magic-suspicious

dwarves is a closely guarded secret; this rune has a tiny image of an

axe on one side.

Thanks once again for reading our weekly offering
of the future MMO. We
hope this piques your curiosity about what will be
offered in the future.
