Writer's Wednesday XVIII
Hello once again and welcome to Writer's Wednesday!
Today we take another look at crafting. We lift the veil
on that mystery of mysteries, the putting of magic to paper. Ladies and gents
we will have scribing to offer for the meticulous mage. What follows is a
sampling of what we hope to offer you as a crafter of spells!
The scribe busies herself in placing knowledge to
parchment. And as knowledge brings power, so does materials they create. The
primary outcome of scribing are in turn, magical scrolls. Able to to store
fixed powered spells within their pages, a little taste of the mystery of magic
can be given to the world to explore. In addition to that, scribing also
provides spellcasters with the ability to create tomes that enhance their
spellcasting abilities.
Egg Based Ink- A thick liquid for writing on coarse
vellums and papers.

Coarse Scribing Vellum- A rough scribing surface that
will hold low levels of magic for several uses before disintegrating.

Runic Template III- Runes cut into templates and treated
with reagents to impart magical qualities to items.

Masterwork Quill- A master's tool for scribing
the strongest Al'Noth spells and the most stirring symphonies.

Book of Prayers, Fifth Volume- Runes in gleaming mithril
grace the cover of this tome. Glorious prayers are captured in the pages. The
magic may be released by those with the knowledge to do so, but when spent, the
tome crumbles into dust.
We hope this nibble intrigues those with the care for
mystical calligraphy! Please look for us again next week as we explore a little
more of the things we hope to bring to you!
