Totally not my style of music. She lacks the falsetto shrieks of doom, the meat-grinder throng of a thousand guitar solos at once, any form of blast drumming or backward satanic messages screamed over the sound of people in sheer and utter anguish...
This is not metal. The goat demons in my skull cannot stomach girls with guitars unless they are strapped down with leather and spikes and set things on fire. Or at least let a fat woman play, why are we so sexist that every female artist need be a super-model? I don't need to want to mate with somebody to enjoy their music. That would have made things very awkward during my roadie days anyhow. Doubt Dio or Yngwie would have appreciated it much.
In any case, I envy you Europeans. In less than a few hundred miles away in any direction, you have the best metal bands on the face of the planet touring. Germany alone has more awesome metal fests than every state in the US combined. All we get over here is washed up old glam bands at best, more often than not some R&B or Hip Hop noise by some kid half my age grunting over a sampled loop he stole off somebody else's cruddy album. Trying to act all tough and gangster, when everybody with wikipedia access knows that he was born to rich LA parents with some momma's boy name like "Dwayne" or "Thurman", and not whatever street cred name he likes to call himself now. Sings about growing up in the hood when in all reality, the closest thing to a drive-by they ever were involved in was when they were quail-hunting on horseback during summer camp.
