Born at a tender age in the sight of his god, Corath, the evil one, Xaltotun couldn't have realised the demands his god would have placed on him. As a young boy, Xaltotun was interested in the wandering "magicians" that would visit his village, charmed by their skills at prestidigitation. As he approached his adolescence, he left his home under a cloud as a cantrip he was trying to create went awry and set fire to his village council chanbers. He took employment as an apprentice to a necromancer, where he gradually increased his skills, eventually surpassing his master. To increase his growth more, he found an aged illusionist from whom he learned all that mage's arts until that latter passed away (due to natural causes). Looking for more knowledge and employment, he took up his last role as a seer for a paladin's family, Vorraf, until he was discovered trying out new cantrips that could be considered by some to be vergin ont he evil side of things. Being paladins, they dismissed Xaltotun at once, and sent him wandering in the wilds. Disgruntled by this set of affairs, the young Xaltotun sought revenge on the paladins by swearing allegiance to an ancient red dragon in return for knowledge of the dark arts. It was while involved in the preparation of such a spell that it backfired and changed Xaltotun's alignment to Chaotic Good. Will he strive to return to his original alignment, or will he settle and improve his skills to the betterment of all around him? Who knows...
