Tars' Father was a priest of Vorax and Mother was a merchant's aid. He was raised normally enough but had his own breed of hardships along the way. He quickly rose the ranks of the junior military before manhood had come upon him. Before he had come of age, at time which he could join the military, he killed the son of a prominent merchant. Tars had come across the child stealing something of little value save to Tars himself. Tars became enraged and slew the boy in anger, beating him nearly past recognition. He hid the boy's body and never spoke of the incident again and denied any knowledge when the body was found. Guilt ridden, Tars joined the military and requested placement at far outposts where only the most brave and battle-worthy would venture. He still strives to forget the memory of killing a small child over such a trivial matter, but has over time become apathetic to specifics of the law; loving life but hating all other aspects of it. He does all he can to avoid dwelling on such things however, and thus has developed a taste for battle. His love of life and nature however still persists and he has been known to spend time in the woods, among the wild bears wrestling them and communing with them. There he learned many feats of battle only those viscious animals could know and although he does not know their tongue in the matter a druid might, he can communicate with them on a different level. There is a feral connection which he can niether deny nor explain, although it seems it will be answered in time. No matter his past he is now battle ridden of mind and cares not for the worries of man other than that of war. He lives a simple life of combat and finds it fulfilling enough.
