A rogue amoung paladins, after lossing his family to the recent war with bloodstone, Mard felt that blind faith in things could no longer protect the people he had sworn a oath to guard. Only combating evil in a different form could he as a lone warrior make a difference.
Mard is a note worthy paladin of Toran, who once had a very bright future, yet he has cast it away for the path of the lone warrior.
His dark armor and large blade betray his true self while most look at him and see a dark knight, it hide his true form of a warrior of light that does battle with on it own ground.
