Pharmacology Quest Arc

One of the families thinks my special skill set could be useful to them. They were quite forceful in their request for my services. It seemed a very special shipment went astray and they wanted me to help break the ringleader. They even gave me some new toys. Extracts of various plants. Some alter perception, some diminish pain, others enhance it. Some I have no idea what they do, but it will be fun to find out.

Progress is slower than I anticipate. Something is off. My employer is not telling me everything. I hate when that happens. He needs some persuasion himself.

They let me out to see my old friend Lexander. It was a good visit. He always has helpful advice. Though his methods are more about training the mind through other means, he did give me some pointers and advice. Politics being the most of it.

It was better. Physical pain, addiction, all means of control. I think our ring leader will be more compliant for the rest of the transfer.
